Wendy Magee-President & Broker-in-Charge
Wendy Magee is the President and Broker-in-Charge of KeyHouse Realty Group Inc. Licensed in North and South Carolina, Wendy has been helping buyers, sellers, and investors achieve their real estate goals since 2018.
Real estate runs in Wendy’s family, with generations of Brokers sharing her passion for the industry. Wendy’s interest in Real Estate began in 2008 when she was the owner of Magee Construction reinventing and flipping homes.
A proud Oak Island resident, she enjoys spending time with her two adult sons, granddaughter, and beloved Sheepadoodle Pookie whom her clients may just get to meet!

Shanda Layman – Broker
Shanda Layman brings a background in education, sales, and business leadership to her role as a real estate broker with KeyHouse Realty. Serving Southport, Oak Island, and surrounding Brunswick County communities, she is committed to helping buyers and sellers feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their real estate journey.
Shanda’s family ties to Oak Island run deep, dating back to the 1950s. The island holds her family’s cherished summer vacation memories and has a special place in her heart. That personal connection inspires her enthusiasm for helping others find their own place along the North Carolina coast.
Shanda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed post-baccalaureate licensure in special and general education. Her 13 years as an educator strengthened her ability to listen carefully, explain complex information clearly, and adapt to individual needs. She brings that same patience and personal attention to guiding clients through the buying and selling process. Shanda is also the founder of Coastal Charm, a new home staging and design business focused on creating inviting spaces and maximizing each listing’s appeal. Combining her love of decorating with her real estate career, she helps highlight a property’s best features, create memorable first impressions, and help buyers envision themselves at home.
